Bridal Veil Falls Hike

Bridal Veil Falls is a 607-foot tall double cataract waterfall in the south end of Provo Canyon, Utah.  The magnificent falls are just four miles up the Provo Canyon. The falls are a favorite with visitors and locals alike.

Bridal Veil Falls can be access from Highway I-15, using the 275 exit and driving east along highway 52 (800 North in Orem) to the junction with highway 189, Provo Canyon road. Go east on 189 for 4 miles to the Bridal Veil pullout or Nuns Park.

If you are viewing the falls staying in your car the falls can be seen from Provo Canyon scenic highway pullout or by taking an exit to where the base of the falls meets the Provo River. There is a small, cold swimming hole, and if you look carefully, you will find a dirt path that will take you up the mountain a bit for a closer view of the falls. The surrounding area is great for summer hiking and several trailheads begin at the falls.

If hiking park in the parking lot provided and follow the trail to the falls. It is a very short trail to the base of the falls (a few hundred feet no more). The fun in hiking to Bridal Veil Falls is hiking to, around, and through the falls itself.
